Parkmerced has your back … to school.
School is once around the corner and as students head back to San Francisco State this month, we want to take this opportunity to wish you a productive year of “Reeling, Writhing and the different branches of Arithmetic – Ambition, Distraction, Uglification and Derision.”
How could we not quote a little Alice in Wonderland as we look to our own wonderland of support services to make college life just a bit more comfortable for you.
A great place to start is our Student Living page, which will give you a good introduction on life in our community, the many amenities here and living spaces that will put dorm life to shame. Also know that we have a dedicated team to providing unique lifestyle experiences for our residents called Community Relations Management Group which creates activations shown on our Community Life site.
When it comes to events, you’ll be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Syzgy/Nightlights, with holiday performances from November through January. You can also enjoy shopping at your very own neighborhood The Market at Parkmerced, which takes place every Saturday from 9 am – 2 pm in Juan Bautista Circle. It’s a great mix of farm stands, local makers, health activations and live music!
From March through October, there’s Arts in the Courtyard, a biweekly celebration with performers, artists and craftspeople. In the fall, you can look forward to our Fall Fest with a pumpkin patch and photo booth. We’ll be enjoying with live bands and food trucks as well. Costumes are definitely a thing and highly encouraged. To keep you entertained there are also, game nights and our own take on drive-in movies, no car required.
If that weren’t enough, how about our many partnerships with exclusive partners and resident-only promos? These include Rinse, who will do your laundry and dry cleaning, Oliver Space (furniture), the Sports Basement and Booster Pop-up Gas Station, which brings low-priced gas right to your car. We even have our own Curative COVID testing site on-site.
Quite frankly, the only reason you need to leave Parkmerced is to attend class. We have everything else you need and more.
