As a community and as individuals, we have been through a historic and unprecedented time. Not only did we have to face the uncertainty of a global pandemic and its potential health risk to ourselves, family and loved ones, but are also dealing with  economic uncertainty that directly impacts the certainty of our employment.

Even though a vaccine is bringing about the “new normal” we all hoped for, many of us are still at risk or are uncertain about what the future holds.

Help is on its way, thanks to our team of Assistance Agents at Parkmerced. Initially, their work was a grassroots effort to help out the community. Residents needed help and the team rose to the occasion. Now, these grassroots efforts have evolved into into a new resource for the Parkmerced community.

“Through these efforts, I’ve established and strengthened relationships with residents I might have not connected with otherwise,” says Nery G., assistance specialist. “Through these, I have had the honor to provide curated support for our residents and will never forget the special bond we now have, having gone through this together.”

As you navigate your way in the recovery phase, your Assistance Agents team is here to support you with a range of services and resources including:

-        Three months of complimentary service with a counselor through Concern Mental Health
