GLOW: Discover the Art of Light at Pier 15 [through Jan 30]
This exciting event gives travelers access to art exhibits throughout terminals during their layover or a quick trip through San Francisco International Airport. View large-scale works by established artists including Yayoi Kusama, Barbara Kruger, and Jenny Holzer.
One Day at a Time at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art [through Mar 6]
This special event celebrates the life and works of Susan O'Malley, co-founder of the groundbreaking gallery One Day at a Time in Los Angeles. This event features new work by artists that have shown with ODAT or featured in the annual ODAT survey, as well as a gallery talk from O'Malley.
The Chinese New Year Parade at the SF Civic Center, North Plaza [Feb 19]
Celebrated for over 120 years and named one of the top ten Parades in the world by the International Festivals & Events Association, the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco is one of the few remaining nights illuminated Parades in North America and the biggest parade celebrating the lunar new year outside of Asia.
