Movie synopsis: Triple Six Eight" is a film inspired by true events, focusing on the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas in WWII. Led by Kerry Washington, the movie depicts the racism, sexism, and grueling working conditions these women faced while committed to serving their country. The women joined the war to fix a three-year backlog of undelivered mail and managed to sort more than 17 million pieces of mail ahead of time.
